Nancy is a financial professional who happens to work with Nationwide.

Not long ago, she decided to apply for a life insurance product through Nationwide, this time as a potential Member. But the underwriting process brought a concerning health discovery to light.

Our underwriting team advised Nancy to seek treatment. Fortunately, she followed their advice. The treatment she received may well have saved her life. While we weren’t able to issue Nancy a life insurance policy, the team at Nationwide did put together a get-well basket and had it delivered to her. This unexpected gesture really touched Nancy. It also showed her that even though she isn’t a Member, Nationwide is still very much on her side.
